Prior to joining Texas Christian University in August 2012 where he is the Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities, Todd served as an officer in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel after 20 years. His service spanned the spectrum of Air Force Civil Engineering responsibilities at every level and at locations around the globe: from Chuuk, Federated States of Micronesia to Germany to Saudi Arabia and Iraq. He served as faculty in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at his alma mater, the U.S. Air Force Academy. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the Academy and a Master of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado.
